Scholarships: Active-Duty Military Discount
                
Families of K-12 students are provided a choice of financial assistance towards private school tuition and fees through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-CO) programs. 

 
Military Family Resources 

  • Tutor.com  
    This online tutoring and homework help program is available for U.S. Military and their families at no cost. The Tutor tutors can assist you with working through difficult homework problems, assist you with improving your writing skills, and more.
     
  • United Through Reading  
    Family bonding experiences are made possible by shared story time through a program called United Through Reading.  This program connects military families who are separated for deployment or military assignment. Visit www.unitedthroughreading.org  
     
  • Military OneSource 
    This Department of Defense resource offers educational resources and support services for military families, such as tax services, spouse employment help, Webinars, online training, relocation, deployment tools, and other areas.   • Sesame Street for Military Families 
    This is a free, bi-lingual (English and Spanish) website that families can utilize to locate information and multimedia resources on topics such as military deployments, multiple deployments, homecomings, injuries, grief, and self-expression.
     
  • Red Cross—Military Services                   

    Members of the Red Cross assist members of the military, veterans, and their families in how to prepare, respond, and adjust to the challenges of military services. Department of the Air Force Child and Youth Programs (CYP): This department offers various programs to support military families, including childcare, after-school programs, and educational support services.     Military Interstate Children's Compact Commission (MIC3): This commission ensures smoother school transitions for military children moving between states. They offer resources and assistance with school enrollment, credit transfers, and standardized testing https://mic3.net/
